We're happy to be invited by YAKU to share our experience and knowledge about urban open air swimming in a presentation and workshop in Gent! The evening at DOK is free but you need to inscribe, check the event details on Facebook.
We will present a variety of reference projects from all over Europe in order to highlight questions of urban context, water quality, organization and responsibility. Based on this framework we will try to identify possible scenarios for future urban outdoor swimming in Gent, a city full of water.
After our participation in a debate on the same topic in Liège last year, we're curious to get to know the Flemish context. We're sure that there is a lot to learn from the different conditions in the other parts of Belgium for our quest in Brussels.

Nous sommes heureux d’être invités par YAKU à partager notre expérience et nos connaissances sur la baignade en plein air dans une présentation et un workshop à Gand! La soirée à DOK est gratuite mais vous devez vous inscrire, vérifier les détails de l'événement sur Facebook.
Nous présenterons une variété de projets de référence de toute l'Europe afin de préciser les questions de contexte urbain, de qualité de l'eau, d'organisation et de responsabilité. Sur la base de ce cadre, nous essaierons d'identifier des scénarios possibles pour la future baignade urbaine en plein air à Gand, une ville remplie d'eau.
Après notre participation à un débat sur le même sujet à Liège l'année dernière, nous sommes curieux de connaître le contexte flamand. Nous sommes sûrs que les conditions dans les autres régions de la Belgique ont beaucoup à apprendre pour notre bataille à Bruxelles.

We zijn blij voor de uitnodiging door YAKU om onze ervaring en kennis over stedelijk openluchtzwemmen te delen in een presentatie en workshop in Gent! De avond op DOK is gratis, maar je moet inschrijven, bekijk de details van het evenement op Facebook.
We zullen een verscheidenheid aan referentieprojecten uit heel Europa presenteren om vragen te benaderen zoals stedelijke context, waterkwaliteit, organisatie en verantwoordelijkheid. Op basis van dit kader zullen we proberen mogelijke scenario's te identificeren voor toekomstig stedelijk openluchtzwemmen in Gent, een stad met een overvloed aan water.
Na onze deelname aan een debat over hetzelfde onderwerp vorig jaar in Luik, zijn we benieuwd naar de Vlaamse context. We zijn er zeker van dat er veel te leren valt van de verschillende omstandigheden in de andere delen van België voor onze strijd in Brussel.
