The first exhibition that focuses on urban swimming in Switzerland, is framed by international projects that draw inspiration from the fantastic conditions in Zürich, Geneva, Bern and Basel. POOL IS COOL is one of the 6 international projects.

POOL IS COOL is invited to the fifth edition of the New Generations Festival - Building the Atlas - in Warsaw, taking place on November 15th-17th, 2018. Louisa Vermoere will speak about the importance of communication for our work, combining digital channels and real life activities.
POOL IS COOL is invited to “Baignade en Ville”, a conference on outdoor swimming in existing waters, organized by the City of Paris. We will join one of the round tables to discus swimming in the city with initiatives that fight for urban swimming as a public right for everyone.
How to mobilize as many people as possible to get together to make the city liveable? POOL IS COOL will join this workshop at Beursschouwburg, focussing on communication and the importance of (social) media. Many other initiatives will share their experience. Free admission.

POOL IS COOL takes part in the second edition of the Brussels Urban Landscape Biennial in BOZAR which reviews the increasingly important role of water in urban areas. We add the question of leisure to the often mainly spatial and technical approach of water management.
